Jacek Pasieczny (1978) is presently completing his PhD – “Space – Documentation of Civilization” at the Academy of Art in Cracow, Poland under Professor Lukasz Konieczko. He is teaching in “Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Cracow University”. In 1998, he went to study in the Jan Matejko, Academy of Art in Cracow under Professors Slawomir Karpowicz and Stanislaw Rodzinski. He was awarded a diploma with distinction on completion of his course in 2003 and between 2001 and 2004 (DAAD scholarship) studied at the Academy of Art in Nurnberg, Germany under Professors Hohannes Gruetzke and Peter Angermanna. Pasieczny completed the PGDip Course with distinction (the first foreign student in the history of this academy to achieve this) and received the ‘Akademiepreise’ Award in 2004.

He has also been awarded by the Polish Minister of Culture RP and the German Academic Head Office in Bonn. Since 2003, he has been a member of the ZPAP.

He specializes in painting and graphic art. He has 4 individual and 30 group exhibitions to his name.
